Bee-Line, West Hartlepool entered GEF277 in the British Coach Rally. Seen here in Sutherland Street prior to taking up its position at the start line in Victoria Coach Station it was a Plaxton Consort IV C41F bodied Bedford SB1. The Rally Marshall seems not to be enjoying the weather.

New to Bee-Line, West Hartlepool in January 1960, HEF511 was a Plaxton 'Conway IV' DP44F bodied Bedford SB1 and is seen here at Wembley Stadium whilst with Creasey, Harold Hill. The Conway was an unofficial description of the body with a Consort front end on a Highway body.

10. HEF753
Bee-Line West Hartlepool HEF753 made an appearance at the 1960 British Coach Rally at Brighton where it is seen here on Madeira Drive. This was one of eight Plaxton Consort IV C41F bodied coaches new in 1960 to Bee-Line based on a Bedford SB1 chassis modified to the design of their Chief Engineer and referred to by Plaxton as the 'C type'.

GEF281 was new to Bee-Line, West Hartlepool and was acquired by Carter, Northwold in October 1962. It was a Bedford SB1 'C Type' with a Plaxton Consort IV C41F body which had been new in March 1959, one of fifteen new to Bee-Line at that time.
