This photo taken at the Weighbridge bus station in St Helier in the early seventies is of Jersey Motor Transport J5567, fleet No 44, a Leyland PS1 with a Reading B34F body new in 1951. The photo was taken at the time when JMT was in the process of changing their colour scheme from green and cream to blue and cream as seen on the vehicles parked around No 44.
I was prompted to submit this photo after seeing the recent posting of the same bus after sale to Guernsey and it's subsequent re-body as an open-top tour bus.
