A rear view of Jersey Motor Transport 42, J30483, Ford R192 Willowbrook B44F and 38, J4556, Ford R192 Plaxton Derwent II B48F clearly showing the difference in width, the 8' 0" wide one requiring front and rear marker boards.
They were seen in the Weighbridge Bus Station in St. Helier and 38 had been registered VUP147F when with Trimdon Motor Services before transfer in October 1971. Note that the Police plates were required to be illuminated during the hours of darkness, necessitating a surface mounted lamp on the Plaxton body.
