Ipswich East Lancs bodied AEC Regent V, 51, PPV51, came to a disastrous end on 21 July 1976 when it was driven under a low bridge wrecking the entire roof.
It was stripped of all usable parts including engine and there was little left other than chassis and empty body hulk. Front and rear views of the sad remnants are seen here at the rear of Priory Heath depot on 28 December 1976 shortly before it went for scrap.
