Great Yarmouth was an early Atlantean user, taking four PDR1/1 models with MCW bodywork in 1960. A further two with Roe bodies arrived in 1964, followed by a further four, this time PDR1/2 versions in 1965, again with Roe bodywork. The picture shows fleet number 3, DEX703, a Met-Cam model resting in the company of Roe bodied 7, CEX107C.
This bus carried the name 'Peggotty' after the fictional local fisherman in the Charles Dickens novel Davis Copperfield.
