Four of the six acquired had manual gearboxes, the first in the PTE fleet for years, and therefore a special rota of drivers was required. They were the first second-hand buses bought and were used in areas where full size vehicles could not operate. These small buses were a "roaring " success and I suppose, paved the way for even smaller minibuses in the future.
