GCT A248, FYS431, an AEC Regent III with Weymann H56R body from 1951 heads a trio of similar buses on a football special service on duty at Hampden Park.
These AECs were not usually allocated to Parkhead Garage which solely operated service 13 but I can only surmise that this was a temporary arrangement. The destination "Polmadie" is strange as that terminus is before Hampden. "Football Match" would have been more accurate. I suspect the conductor is occupied changing the screen. They would not have been returning to Polmadie after the match either.
Incidentally, the Scottish Cup semi Final that day result: Celtic 2 Clyde 0 for football fans.
