Gelligaer U.D.C. 17, KNY454, was an AEC Regal III new in 1950 with Duple B35F body rebuilt by Longwell Green in 1959 for one man operation.

Gelligaer Leyland single decker 1, KNY960, on a wet day. The distinctive building in the background should identify the location. Steam in the background suggests railway or colliery activity. KNY960 was new in 1951, a Leyland PS1/1 with a Duple B35F body.

Gelligaer Leyland 3, MTG620 on a very wet day! It was a Leyland PD2/10 with Leyland L27/26R body new in 1953.

Gelligaer MTG620, a Leyland PD2/10 with Leyland L27/26R body, was number 9 in this fleet having been renumbered from 3 in 1966.

Gelligaer MTG883, fleet number 10 was one of two AEC Regal IIIs new in 1953 with Longwell Green B35F bodies. When new it had been number 12 before the 1966 renumbering.

Gelligaer 15, RTX966, new in 1955 as number 28, was an AEC Reliance with Longwell Green B44F body. Withdrawn in 1970 it was used for spares before passing to a dealer.

Gelligaer U.D.C. 22, VNY255, an AEC MU3RV Reliance with a Longwell Green B44F body seen at the garage in Gelligaer.

New to Gelligaer as number 22, Longwell Green B44F bodied A.E.C. MU3RV Reliance VNY255 was withdrawn in 1972 and passed to Lewis Boys' School, Pengam in December 1972.

Gelligaer 23, 751HNY, was a Longwell Green L27/28RD bodied Leyland PD2/40 new, as number 14, in 1960.

Gelligaer U.D.C. 29, 363MTG, an A.E.C. 2MU3RV Reliance with a Longwell Green B44F body, new in November 1961, is seen on the Garage approach road in Tiryberth.

Two A.E.C. 2MU3RA Reliances were new to Gelligaer in 1964 and 13, ANY433B, the second of them, renumbered to 30 in 1966, is seen here in Hanbury Square, Bargoed.

16. FGW498C
Former AEC demonstrator FGW498C was acquired by Gelligaer in 1967 and was photographed in a special livery for the Prince of Wales Investiture in 1969. It carried fleet number 35 and was a Willowbrook B53F bodied AEC Swift new in 1965.

A rather later Gelligaer Leyland single decker and a very quirky looking minibus, which looks like a conversion from the sort of van much favoured by Royal Mail! The bus was 36, STB957C, a Leyland Panther with Willowbrook B53F body, new as a Leyland demonstrator in 1965 and acquired by Gelligaer in 1967

The second of two A.E.C. 2MU3RA Reliances with Willowbrook bodies new in 1966, Gelligaer 33, LTG733D, was B42D when new, and was later rebuilt to B43F, in December 1971.
