A rear view of EW Wilson (Economic), Whitburn 5, 8031PT, a Plaxton Highway B55F bodied AEC Reliance 4MU3RA new to the operator in June 1962.
It was acquired, with the business, by Tyne & Wear PTE, on 1 January 1975, but withdrawn early in 1975 and sold to North (dealer), Sherburn in March 1975. It passed to Holt, Newport (Yorks) in October 1976 and was withdrawn by them by 5/78. In January 1985 it was re-registered WNL 259A with Byker St Peters Imperial Jazz Band and is now preserved.
