With a Roe L27/28R body, GNN134, a Guy Arab II new in May 1944, had been D34 in the East Midland fleet. It was rebodied with another Roe L27/28R body in 1954 and was acquired by Silcox, Pembroke Dock in 1960 becoming number 52.

ORR333 was a 1954 Leyland PSUC1/1 with Saunders Roe B44F body, new to East Midland as fleet no. R333. It passed to the County Donegal Railway in Ireland in 5/65 but by the time this view was taken of it in Strabane in August 1969 it was nearing the end of its life, being withdrawn and sold for scrap later in the year.

Seen at Letterkenny (County Donegal Railway) station, the bus is registered ORR333 and presumably belongs to the County Donegal Railways with CDR on indicator. Livery looks to be CDR and presumably the bus was acquired to replace train services in 1960. ORR333 was new to East Midland c.1954, a Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/1 with Saunders Roe B44F body.

PVO624 was a Leyland PSUC1/2T Tiger Cub with a Burlingham Seagull C41C body new as East Midland C24 in July 1954. It was acquired by Silcox, Pembroke Dock and numbered 20 in 1964 and was rebodied with a Plaxton Panorama II C43F body in February 1967.

Better known for their up-market coach fleet, Park's of Hamilton periodically used second-hand buses for school contract work; these two ex-East Midland 1958 PD3/4s with Weymann L35/32RD bodies, YAL125 and YAL127, were freshly painted black and white in this garage shot taken in the early 1970s.

Paton Brothers gradually switched to saloons in the late sixties. Two early examples of this trend seen at the depot are YAL366 a Leyland Tiger Cub with Metro Cammell bodywork that was new to East Midland as their R366 in 1958. Alongside is WXR52, another Tiger Cub this one was new to Birch Brothers as their K52 and had a Willowbrook coach body.

Todmorden J.O.C. 340, YAL366, a 1958 Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/1 with Metro Cammell B44F body. New to East Midland as R366, it was acquired by Todmorden J.O.C. as their 15 in July 1969. It passed to C.J.O.C in September 1971, but was withdrawn the same month, passing to Paton of Renfrew.

North Western must have been less than impressed with the lowbridge layout of the Atlantean, as they decided to buy Fleetlines which could be lowheight without resort to the sunken side gangway at the rear of the upper saloon.

DVG568, HAL105K, an early Bristol VR Mark 2 with ECW H39/31F body had only been acquired in June 1984 from East Midland, to whom it had served as D105 from November 1971, losing its D prefix in January 1976.
