Eastbourne Corporation 12, JK8418, a 1939 Leyland 'Lion' LT8 with Leyland B34F bodywork seen in Compton Street outside the old Devonshire Swimming Baths on 13th June 1967. This was fitted with a Leyland 8.6 litre oil engine in 1954 and re-seated from B32F in 1963. One of five delivered just before the outbreak of World War II, the other four were requisitioned by the War Department and never returned though one (15) still survives, re-registered LMG184.

Eastbourne Corporation 13, JK9111, the first of the 1946 East Lancashire bodied Leyland PD1s, this was converted to open-top in the winter of 1961/2 and survived in this form until May 1968 when it was exported to Houston, Texas.

Eastbourne Corporation 19, JK9117, the solitary Weymann H30/26R bodied AEC 'Regent' II delivered in 1946 seen at the Churchdale Road garage yard in April 1966. This was withdrawn and sold for scrap in May 1967 having served as the driver trainer for several years prior to withdrawal.

Delivered as H28/24R with a single seat each side as the middle row in the lower saloon this was upseated to H30/26R in 1960. This was withdrawn in August 1967 and sold to Wombwell Diesels.

To celebrate 110 years of bus operation in Eastbourne, Stagecoach as successor to the Corporation/Eastbourne Buses has been operating a commemorative service 110 along the sea front from the town centre during the summer. 1967 Leyland PD2A/30 East Lancs DHC782E (originally 82, now 19978!) looks splendid in traditional livery, and sounds a treat,too.
