Blackburn Transport 6, RTB808M, a 1973 East Lancs B47F bodied Bristol RESL inherited from the Darwen fleet under Local Government re-organisation in 1974 climbs the steep Borough Road on Darwens shortest route to Bold Venture Park.
Carrying the unpopular red, white and dark green livery conceived by an 'artistic expert' in the Town Hall, the bus would later be re-numbered 408 and carry the attractive green and cream livery.
