Derby Corporation 194, NCH194E, was one of fifteen Roe H44/34F bodied Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX which had been new in September 1967, presumably as replacements for the trolleybuses, which were withdrawn in the same month.
The blue and grey livery was initially intended to indicate one person operation, the first vehicle so treated being 193 (from the same batch) in May, 1969. However, in late 1971 it began to be applied to older vehicles. 194 was the first of the batch to be withdrawn, in April 1980, and passed to Rollinson (dealer), Carlton in June 1981, for scrap. Two of the batch survived until 1984.
