Central SMT T26, HGM426E, was, numerically, the first of 20 Leyland Leopard PSU3/1R with Alexander 'Y-type' B53F bodies new in July 1967.

By June 1980 it had been transferred to the ancillary fleet as a tow wagon, and in July 1989 went to Kelvin Scottish as tow wagon S61 until withdrawal in March 1998. Kelvin sold it by June 1998 and in 1999 it was noted at the depot of First Edinburgh, Dalkeith. In April 2001 it was sold for preservation.
