The batch of 35 ECW bodied Daimler Fleetlines delivered new to Central SMT in 1971 were transferred elsewhere in 1975 or 1976. D1-20 went to Eastern Scottish and the former D3, TGM203J, now numbered DD283 is seen at the ex Baxters depot at Airdrie.
Known as Victoria Depot on Gartlea Road, Airdrie and acquired with the Baxters business in 1962 it closed in 1979 and is now covered by a large shopping centre. The depot backed on to the former Airdrie football ground, now also relocated to another site. The other Eastern Scottish depot on Connor Street, Airdrie, known as Clarkston Depot transferred to Central SMT in the preparations for privatisation, and is now covered by new housing.
