Cumberland 199, JRM195, was one of ten Leyland PS1/1s with Burlingham bodies delivered in 1950. Two had C28F bodies whilst the others, including 199, had C31F coachwork. In April 1959 bus seats were fitted to 199 and a full width canopy, with destination and route number boxes, was also fitted. New windows with radiused sliders replacing the original half-drop type were also fitted. In December 1961 it became number 124 and passed to F. Cowley (dealer), Salford in January 1964 and then to William Press Limited (contractor), London numbered CH36 in March.
