Norwest Construction Co, Liverpool was NDG169, a Guy Arab LUF with a Duple Elizabethan C37C, one of a batch of 16 new to Black & White Motorways, Cheltenham, in May 1954.
One of the batch had been withdrawn earlier, following an accident, but the remaining 15 passed to H Cowley (dealer), Manchester, in December 1966. Eight of them then passed to W Marshall, Blackpool, in June 1967 but only three were operated by Marshall. NDG169 was one of those acquired but not operated and had gone to Norwest by January 1969.
