New in February 1953, BEA Park Royal bodied AEC Regal Mark IV MLL739, operated by London Transport and used to carry passengers between West London Air Terminal in the Cromwell Road and London Airport.
More details on these coaches here.
Taken on a day trip from St Albans when it was still possible to go to the top of buildings to photograph planes. These trips were quite popular and it was quite easy to walk about the car and coach parks but not airside.
