Seen in Leeds Central Bus Station is Burrows, Wombwell 30, BWT984, a Leyland LT7 Lion, new in December 1936, with an Elwell B35F body.
It was withdrawn in December 1954 passing to Phillips Motor Services, Sheffield. Burrows 30/1/3 (BWT984, BWW708/710) are recorded with Elwell bodies whilst 32 (BWW709) is recorded as ?Burlingham?.
All were LT7s with B35F (30/1) or B32F (32/3) bodies new between December 1936 and May 1937. Strangely 32, on withdrawal in June 1952, passed to an operator Elwell, Thurnscoe, who seems to have started in 1947, so were they connected with the builders of the bodies pre-war????
