Barton, Chilwell 940, GFM923, was a Leyland PD1A which had been new in August 1947, as Crosville M538, with an Eastern Coachworks L27/26R body.
It was acquired from Crosville in December 1961, by which time it had been renumbered to DTE538, and is seen at the Barton garage in Chilwell.
