New in June 1945 Barton 443, GNN704, was a Guy Arab II with a Strachans L27/28R body which was fitted with platform doors in December 1954.
The date of rebuilding is not recorded but it has obviously involved the windows being remounted. It was withdrawn in November 1966, having outlived the other eleven similar vehicles delivered in 1945. It passed to A. Barton along with 442, 445 and 449 which had been withdrawn earlier in 1966.
