Barton Transport, Chilwell 1050, HJF61, was a Plaxton C41C bodied AEC Regal IV 9822S which had been new to Provincial Garage (Leicester) Ltd in May 1953 as their R8.
The Provincial business had been acquired by Barton in May 1966 and this was one of twelve vehicles acquired with it. It was withdrawn in September 1970 and passed to M King (Barwell Coaches), Barwell, who ran it until January 1971.
