1. ... Burton & Ashby tram 14 has been in service in August at Statfold Barn Railway with the delayed enthusiasts day from March, now spread over two days to reduce numbers and with social distancing, hand hygiene and face coverings for people travelling on the tram and trains. 2. ... Following the picture from Ken Jones regarding car 14 of the Burton & Ashby Light Railway at Statfold Barn Farm, I have posted the photo above of car 14 at work. (1920s, Gresley Common, Church Gresley)
3. FA7959 ... Burton received ten Guy Arab IIs (5LW), in 1944 with bodies by both Park Royal (six) and Weymann (four). 24, FA7959, was one of those which had Weymann H30/26R bodies, and was new in March 1944. (Sun 14/7/63, Garage, Burton)
4. FA8424 ... Burton 39, FA8424, a Guy Arab with Brush B35F body, new in November 1946, later to Stevensons, Uttoxeter. (October 1949, at Derby (probably on football special to Derby County))
5. FA8424 ... Photographed at the Spath, Uttoxeter garage, Stevenson, Spath 7, FA8424, was a Guy Arab III with a Brush B34F body new in 1946 as Burton 39, which had been acquired in April 1954. (Sun 10/5/64, Stevenson's Garage, Spath)
6. FA9292 ... Seen at the garage is Burton 64, FA9292, the last of four Guy Arab IIIs with Guy B35R bodies and 5LW engines new in 1948/9 which had special low height bodies to negotiate Moor Street bridge. (Sun 14/7/63, Garage, Burton)
7. FA9291 ... Burton Corporation 63, FA9291, a 1949 Guy B35R bodied Guy Arab III 5LW at the 1971 St. Leger Rally in Doncaster. This was about the time it was withdrawn by Burton and as far as I can find out it was bought with a view to preservation but only the chassis had survived by 2001 when that was scrapped. 8. FA9291 ... Burton 63, FA9291, seen in the Gynn Square car park in Blackpool was a Guy Arab III with a Guy B35R body, one of four new in 1949. (Sun 16/4/72, Gynn Square Car Park, Blackpool)
9. FA9716 ... Preserved Burton Corporation 16, FA9716, Guy Arab III built 1949 and rebodied in 1960 by Massey, H33/28R. (Mon 21/4/03, at Coors Bass Museum, Burton)
10. FA9716 ... FA9716 is former Burton 16, a Guy Arab III with H33/28R Massey body, now part of the Roger Burdett collection and seen undergoing extensive renovation. (Thu 18/1/18, Private site in Staffordshire)
11. FA9716 ... Here's an updated shot of FA9716 - one day after it has been repainted, and on it's way to Roger Burdett's site for final work including crests, fleet numbers and maybe adverts. 15. NLJ271 ... Preserved Burton-on-Trent 1, NLJ271, a Leyland Royal Tiger PSU1/13 built in 1954 with Burlingham B41D bodywork. (mid 1970s?, Canon's Marsh, Bristol)
16. HFA575 ... Burton received three Guy Arab IVs (5LW) with Massey H33/28R bodies and 5LW engines in January 1959, and 75, HFA575, seen at the garage, was the last of the trio and, after withdrawal in February 1972, passed to Tiger (dealer), Salsburgh in May. (Sun 14/7/63, Garage, Burton)

27. MFA703G ... Burton joined the trend to saloons in the late sixties when they bought Daimler Fleetline SRG6LW chassis, although later deliveries would revert to double deckers. Single deck Fleetline 103, MFA703G, carries Willowbrook bodywork and dates from 1969. (Sun 19/6/11, Rowsley)
