Bolton 434, DBN337, one of fifty Leyland PD2/4s delivered in 1949 with Leyland H30/26R bodies which were increased to H32/26R in 1955/6. Seen in this rather poor shot at Victoria Bus Station it still displays the ‘8’ on the cab door, applied to the 1948 and 1949 deliveries to advise drivers that they were 8 feet wide.
434 passed to Oldham as number 473 in April 1966 and subsequently to SELNEC in 11/69.
