Bolton Leyland Atlantean 192, UWH192.
This view is among my collection of slides bought from various sources, and it puzzles me somewhat. She's on a beach, and I have always been under the impression that it was Southport beach, but I don't recall the tide coming in so close to the promenade rail. She's marked for the 52, which was one of the Bolton to Bury services.
Two questions, please: Where was the photo really taken and can anyone suggest a reason the bus was there?
