2. GYL983 ... Moore Brothers, Kelvedon GYL983, seen at Braintree was a Guy Arab II with a Strachan L27/28R (8'0" wide) body fitted in 1954. When new as Birch Brothers K103 in 1945 it had a Weymann L27/28R body and passed to Moore in June 1951. In 1963 it became Eastern National 1029 on the acquisition of Moore Brothers.

3. HLY480 ... Birch Brothers took delivery in 1946/7 of ten Leyland PD1s with Birch L28/25F bodies. Seven of them received new Metro-Cammell H30/26R bodies in 1956/7 and the first of these K180, HLY480, is seen at Bedford after the rebodying acting as a relief on the 203 service to London.

It passed to Ronsway, Hemel Hempstead as DP32R in March 1959 and to Blue Bus. Slough in February 1960, being withdrawn in May 1963.
