Birmingham's standard double decker in the late nineteen thirties was the Daimler COG5 with Birmingham designed Metro Cammell body.
Dating from 1937, 1107, CVP207, had a twenty two year career with Birmingham before being eventually purchased for preservation.
The body style was used extensively in the post war period by Birmingham on a diverse range of chassis including AEC RT types, Guys, Crossleys and Daimlers
