Seen arriving at the rally in Hillingdon is preserved Alexander, Falkirk RB245, RMS677, a Leyland PD3/3C with an Alexander L35/32R body.
This was the first of seventeen, new in 1961, using chassis constructed with new frames and using parts from withdrawn Leyland PS1s and engines from Leyland OPS2/1s. In the case of RB245, these came from PS1 JAT 427 and OPS2/1 PB14.
It was renumbered by adding the prefix 'M' in 1962, was withdrawn in 1976 and passed to the East Yorkshire Motor Society, Hull in July 1976 for peservation.
