Seen here in Kinnoull Street, Perth is Alexander, Falkirk P596, WG8813, new in 1939, which was a Leyland TS8 special with an Alexander C39F body, one of twenty-seven such coaches new that year.
A further seventy-four followed in 1940. WG8813 was new in July and was transferred to Alexander (Midland) in May 1961.
