Ashton under Lyne bought Leyland chassis with Roe bodywork after the war. Their last front engined buses entered service in 1965 and were Leyland Titan PD2/37 with forward entrance Roe bodywork. Seen amid lying snow is 44, PTE944C, the sole survivor of the batch of five.
