Turning unto Farnham Road Bus Station in Guildford is Aldershot & District Weymann H39/29F bodied Dennis Loline III 501, 501KOT, delivered in December 1964.
This bus still carries the fine flamboyant fleet name that was then being progressively displaced by the insipid simplification displayed in later photographs. Following behind is a Dennis Lancet III J10, one of twelve delivered between October 1950 and January 1951. This picture was taken in the summer of 1967, and it was remiss of me not to record the identity of the Lancet which I cannot now discern from the original slide. By this time only eight of the original twelve J10s were still in service and these were soon to be withdrawn themselves.
