Preserved Aberdeen RG1173, fleet number 79, an Albion PM28 with Walker B31R body, built in April 1930 and seen at Duxford Showbus 2004. Said to be the oldest preserved bus in Scotland, it has been fully restored after years of severe deterioration in a garden in South London and won "Best in Show" at Showbus 2000.

Aberdeen 140, BRG916, was the first of three Daimler CWA6s with Duple H30/26R bodies, new in 1944, which is seen at the King Street Garage.

A row of Aberdeen's Daimlers with H30/26R bodies at King Street Garage. They are 144, BRG950, a 1945 CWA6 with a Brush body; 147, BRS29 and 151, BRS33, 1945 CWA6s with Duple bodies; 148, BRS30 also a 1945 CWA6 with a Duple body; and 141, BRG917 a 1944 CWA6 with a Duple body.

Scotland's capital city can boast of several museums and galleries, but no transport museum since the small one housed in the Shrubhill works of Edinburgh City transport was closed several years ago. Along with Edinburgh tram 35 and FSC182, Aberdeen BRS37, a Daimler CWD6 with a Duple body was also displayed.

Aberdeen 18, BRS518, was one of six such buses delivered in 1946 with four more following in 1947 and is here seen at the King Street Garage. Fitted with a Weymann H30/26R body the chassis was of the London 'RT3' style.

Aberdeen 14, CRS834, was a Daimler CVD6 with a Walker B34R body new in 1948. In 1956 it was rebuilt to B31F for one man operation and in 1963 further rebuilt to DP31F. Renumbered to 44 in March 1967 it was again rebuilt in 1968 to DP29F plus invalid chairs and was seen in this form at King Street Garage. It passed to McLennan, Spittalfield in October 1971.

Aberdeen 88, DRS358, a Daimler CVG6 was new as number 158 in 1950 with a Weymann H30/26R body. In 1962 it was renumbered to 108 and again renumbered to 88 in 1966. It had been rebuilt and reseated to H33/27R in 1959 and was seen at King Street Garage.

Aberdeen 97, DMS351, was a Leyland PD2/12 with a Leyland L27/26R body new in 1951 seen at King Street Garage. It was acquired from Alexander (Midland), Falkirk MRB117 in 1970 for training duties only and was withdrawn in 1974, passing to Alexander (Greyhound), Arbroath in April 1974, but was not licensed.

Aberdeen Corporation 161, DRS361, nearer the camera and twin sister 162, DRS362, stand in the sunshine in Castle Street. Both were Daimler CVG6s new in 1951 and rebodied in July 1960 with Alexander H37/29R bodies.

Aberdeen 176, GRG176, was a Daimler CVG6 new in 1954 with a Crossley H32/28R body. It was reseated to H32/29R in 1958 and again to H33/29R in 1965. It was seen at King Street Garage.

Aberdeen 205, HRG205, the first of five A.E.C. D2RV6G Regent Vs with Crossley H34/28R bodies new in 1955. It was reseated to H34/29R in 1959 and again to H35/29R in 1966 and was seen at King Street Garage.
