Sunderland 2, BR7132, is the all-Leyland Lion dating from 1929.
It only spent five years in Sunderland before being sold to Tantivy Motors, Jersey in 1934, being re-registered as J9008.
Having survived Jersey's German occupation in WW2, Tantivy Motors transferred their bus operations to Jersey Motor Transport in 1949, but continued as coach operators. Now operating as JMT 46, J9008 remained in service until 1958 and was acquired by pioneering preservationist Michael Plunkett in 1959.
As reported in previous posts, it spent many years with the Southdown Omnibus Trust at Amberley before returning to its home territory at Beamish in 2023.
Next to it, on the left, is the Northern General BMMO SOS, UP551.
