West Yorkshire PTE (Calderdale District) on the left 3373, KCP3, a Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmaster RT3/1 with Weymann B42F body new to Halifax Corporation (3) in 1958, and on the right 3294, DJX351D, a Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX with Northern Counties H43/31F body, new to Hebble (351) in 1966.
Seen in the first incarnation of Brighouse's Bus Station in Gooder Street, which had then only recently replaced the town's original one in the former Market Square. Shortly after this the properties in the background were swept away to allow for the construction of the Ludenscheid Link by-pass, whereupon a revised Bus Station was created on the same site - since replaced with yet another. The Worldmaster had just arrived on the mountainous route 50 from Halifax via Southowram, whilst the Fleetline was preparing to depart for Halifax the easier way on the 48 via Slead Syke and Hipperholme.
