WYPTE (Calderdale District) 3372, KCP2, a Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmaster RT3/1 with Weymann B42F body. New in 1958 as Halifax Corporation 2 it was transferred to the JOC fleet as 372 in 1972, passing to WYPTE in 1974.
It was the last survivor of the nine Worldmasters, being withdrawn in 1979 and sold via Central Motor Auctions to Paul Sykes (dealer and breaker), Blacker Hill for scrap soon afterwards.
Here it is seen entering King Cross on its return from operating a trip to Midgley and Booth. At the time buses on this section would follow a 75 Midgley/Booth with a 3 to Queensbury (Hunger Hill Estate) via Bradshaw, then a 67 to Tuel Lane via Beech Road, before picking up another 75.
The row of terrace houses (Wainhouse Terrace) at the top left would soon be demolished, and the grassed area above the bus had been the site of the former King Cross Police Station, also then recently demolished .
