Sunderland 131, KGR531G, was a Leyland Panther PSUR1/1R with a Strachans B47D body, new in October 1968, one of a batch of 24, all of which transferred to Tyneside PTE on 1 April 1973 and to Tyne & Wear PTE exactly one year later.
131 was renumbered 931 on 1 July 1974 as part of a renumbering system to bring all the vehicles acquired by the PTE into a common series. In 1977 it was again renumbered 1931 and was withdrawn about a year later.
