Guy Wulfrunian Chassis Index

Photo © Chris Hough. Please do not re-post without permission.

This Guy Wulfrunian with Roe body was new to County Motors in 1960. At the time County was jointly owned by West Riding and Yorkshire Traction and as a result the vehicle policy was to follow West Riding for double deck purchases and Yorkshire Traction for saloons. Numbered 99 in the County fleet it and its companion were quickly sold to West Riding where it became 995, UCX275, in their fleet.
995 had the honour of being the last ever Wulfrunian to run in West Riding service in 1972 and is now the only road worthy Wulfrunian in the world. This view shows the rear of the bus and the somewhat old fashioned emergency exit and divided rear upper deck window
