1. EED15
Warrington 36, EED15, was a Foden PVD6 new in 1945 as HMB395 fitted with a Willowbrook L27/26R body as a demonstrator for Foden. The chassis was acquired by Warrington in 1946 and was fitted with a secondhand 1935 Metro Cammell H30/24R body and re-registered.

Clark, Dumfries FGD102 was a Foden PVSC6 with a Plaxton C33F body which was new in October 1947 to Campbell, Aberdeen (part of the Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society) and is seen here in Dumfries.

Photographed at their Uttoxeter garage, Green Bus Company, Rugeley 14, LRF506, was a Foden PVSC6 new in January 1947 with an Eastern Counties B34F body. It was rebodied in 1949 with a Windover Huntingdon C33F body and was withdrawn in March 1965.

A not very good photo of BCN28, a Foden coach used by showman photographed at Blackheath. It was a Foden PVSC6 with A.C.B. C33F body new in 1948 to Crown, Birtley (no.68)

Dodds, Troon CAG802, a Foden PVSC6 seen here at Dodd's garage, was new in July 1948 with a Plaxton C33F body. It was rebuilt with a Plaxton full front in 1958 to become FC33F, and was broken up in 1963.

Smith, Barrhead ran this Foden PVD6, GGD306, with Welsh Metal Industries L27/26R body which is seen here at the terminus at Nitshill. It was new in 1948.

Merthyr double decker 48, HB6580, probably at Merthyr depot. This was part of a batch of six new in 1948, Foden PVD6 with Welsh Metal Industries H30/26R bodies. Behind is 37, HB6015, a 1945 Bristol K6A with Park Royal body.

Clark, Dumfries ran this Plaxton C33F bodied Foden PVSC6. New in May 1948 and registered HSM839 it is seen in Dumfries.

West Mon 1, HWO590, a Foden PVSC6 new in 1948 with a heavily rebuilt Dodson B32D body from WO 4625, a Leyland Lion. It was rebodied in 1953 with a Willowbrook B31F body. It was fitted with sprag gear to prevent run back on the Bargoed Hill route which had a section of 1 in 4.

Samuel Ledgard coach MUA864 parked outside a Ledgard depot with another unidentified coach parked behind it. The twin horns mounted in front of the entrance door suggest that there would be no difficulty hearing it coming! MUA864 was one of four Foden PVSC6 with Plaxton C33F bodies new in 1949/50.

Samlesbury L27/26R bodywork was fitted to Foden PVD6 SRE881, number 26 in the fleet of Green Bus Company, Rugeley which had been new in 1949 and which was photographed at the Uttoxeter garage. It was followed by another one, TRF 601, in 1950.

UMP291, a Foden with Metalcraft C33F, body new in 1949 to Ardley, London N17 (no. 10) and later used as showman lorry.

Cheadle, Cheshire based R. Bullock (Transport) Ltd. had two fine Foden PVSC6 coaches. GFW496 was new in 1950 with a Lincs Trailer HDC20/23C body, but was rebodied by Plaxton in February 1956 (FC37F) and was acquired from Fieldson of Salford.

GUN2 was new to Pye, Colwyn Bay in June 1950 and was a Foden PVFE6 with a Metalcraft FC33F body. It passed to Hancocks, Old Colwyn in June 1965, although by the time of this photograph it is operating for Caelloi Motors.

The other Foden PVSC6 belonging to R. Bullock (Transport) Ltd. of Cheadle, Cheshire was LMA284 new in 1950 originally having Wadham C32F coachwork.

Harrington Courier FC37F coachwork was carried by this Foden PVFE6, LUP1, of West Herts, Garston seen at Wembley Stadium. It had been new in late 1950 to Pearson, Hetton-le-Hole and was the only vertical engined chassis to carry "The Harrington Courier" on its coachwork,

Coppenhall of Sandbach bought MTU296, a Foden PFVE6 with rare Metalcraft bodywork in 1950. Coppenhall's choice of chassis was hardly suprising since Sandbach was the home of Foden.

Green Bus Company, Rugeley 6, URE802, was a Foden PVFE6 with a Windover Huntingdon Mark III FC39C body new in October 1950 which was withdrawn in October 1964 and scrapped. It had been exhibited on the Windover stand at the 1950 Commercial Motor Show.

Topping, Liverpool 367CKA seen at Cheltenham Coach Station. A helpful passenger has left a case for the driver to load into the boot! It is to be hoped that the driver checked before driving off in this rear engined Foden PVRF6 fitted with a Plaxton C41F body. New as an experimental chassis for Foden in 1951 it was bodied for Topping in 1958.

A rear view showing the engine compartment of OLG855. This was a Foden PVRF6 with a Plaxton C41C body which had been new in September 1951 to the Foden Motor Works Band and was still in use as their means of transport when photographed somewhere in London.

To go with John Kaye's picture of the business end of OLG855 the Foden PVRF6 with Plaxton C41C body new in September 1951 to the Foden Motor Works Band. This coach was stored after withdrawal in 1979 and eventually passed into preservation and appeared at the Warminster bus running day in October 2011.

Whieldons (Green Bus Service) 40, URF 873, was a Foden PVSC 6 with a rare King & Taylor FB38F body, new in 1951. In 1964 it was fitted with an FD6 engine but was withdrawn in 1967, becoming a towing vehicle until it was scrapped in 1968.

Another Foden in the Green Bus, Rugeley fleet was 12, XRE979, which had been new in July 1952 when it carried number 25. This was a PVG6 model with a Massey FC37F body and it had been renumbered in 1956.
