Southend 269, HGF879, a Daimler CWA6, new to London Transport as D202 in 1946 and bought by Southend and rebodied in 1954 for trolleybus replacement - the original trolleybus poles (probably tram poles before that?) are still visible in the background.
Note the well parked mini-van in the higher resolution picture!
