Southend open-top Daimlers 246, JVW561, and 244, FOP429, ready for the new season following a 'wash & brush up'.
Both were Daimler CWA6s bought from Eastern National in 1955. FOP429 was new to Birmingham in 1945, bought by Canvey & District in 1949, then to Westcliff and then Eastern National. JVW561 was new to Benfleet & District 1944, then also to Westcliff and Eastern National. They were both withdrawn in 1970, 246 was scrapped but 244 has been preserved.
