Southend utility bodied Daimler 228, BHJ777, turns out of Fairfax Drive to climb Prittlewell Hill towards Southend and the Eastern Circular on route 29 in February 1957.
The ancient cottage which appears in an earlier trolleybus photo at this location is now being replaced by a modern building. The Prittlewell trolleybus turning circle was immediately behind the bus.
