Leeds 93, JUB593, Daimler CWA6/Brush H30/26R, entered service in January 1946, pictured in the original Leeds Bus Station in the summer of 1956. It was withdrawn later that year.
There have been three bus stations on this site, the first opening on the 1st September 1938 and continuing in use until 1963. The second came into use in September/October 1963 with the opening ceremony on 30th September - click here or here for photos taken in 1972. This was later replaced by the current bus station.

This picture shows the original bus station which had six straight bays of unequal length which were narrower than those of its replacement and shelter was provided, overhead only, by reinforced concrete canopies i.e. open sided construction. In this photo, Leeds Daimler is departing from Platform F - platforms A, B and C were used by Corporation services, platforms D and E by West Riding, Burrows, Kippax & District, Sheffield, South Yorkshire Motors and Yorkshire Traction and platform F for Corporation special works and hospital services, city tours and the 78/79 services to Seacroft.
