Seen in Pretoria City Centre, to the left bus 445 and centre 177, a two axle trolley which looks to have a Daimler badge on radiator followed by another which I think is number 127.

6. FET605
A line of withdrawn Rotherham trolleybuses with no.5 at the front. The original number 5, FET605 was a Daimler CTC6 with East Lancs B38C body new in 1950 and was withdrawn after four years in 1954 along with most of the other CTC6s.

7. FET609
Rotherham 5, FET609, number 9 when delivered, is a Daimler CTE6 with East Lancs B38C bodywork. Seen on Rockingham Road, Swinton on the joint route with Mexborough and Swinton en route to Rotherham. New in 1950, number 5 lasted until 1962.

Rotherham 6, FET610, was originally numbered 10 when delivered in 1950 and renumbered in 1957 after some of the lower numbered buses were rebodied and renumbered. Based on the uncommon Daimler CTE6 chassis, East Lancs B38C bodywork was fitted.

Possibly the only trolleybus to participate in the Trans-Pennine Run was Rotherham 37, FET617, a 1950 Daimler CTE6 with a 1958 Roe H40/30R body, a replacement for the East Lancs B38C original. It was numbered 17 until rebodying and withdrawn at the end of Rotherham trolleybus operation on 2nd October 1965.

Rotherham 37, FET617, was a Daimler CTE6 which had been new in August 1950 as a single-decker with an East Lancs (Bridlington) B38C body, and fleet number 17.
