York-West Yorkshire 3954, DWU839H, a Bristol VRT/SL6G with ECW H39/31F bodywork was new in August 1970 as YVR54, and converted to open top (O39/31F) in the body shop at Central works in 1985, for sightseeing use in York.
It exchanged its upper deck moquette seats for the rexine-covered ones from York-West Yorkshire 3941, an ex-East Midland VRT. No doubt a sensible decision given the vagaries of the English Summer!
