In 1971, Eastern National arranged to swop 15 of their Bristol FLF buses for a similar number of Bristol VRT buses from the W. Alexander and Sons (Midland) Ltd. fleet. 3017, SMS43H is seen here, still in the Alexander blue on its first day in use with ENOC.
