Sheard's of Halifax. Nearest the camera is UWW618F, a 1968 Bedford VAM14 with Plaxton Panorama I C45F body and furthest away is EDC316D, a 1966 Bedford VAS1 with Duple Bella Vista C29F body.
Two more former A. & J.R. Davison coaches, seen parked opposite Sheard's garage in Gibbet Street. The VAM had been new to Davisons (no. 34), but the VAS (no. 35) was unusually a secondhand purchase, having come from Begg's of Thornaby in 1968. In their Davison's heyday these would have been immaculate, but Sheard's weren't quite in the same league.
