John Kaye's Plaxton Gallery shows the 1969 and 1970 season Panoramas on Bedford VAS chassis as having fixed windows and forced ventilation, but this one appears to have one opening window on each side.
In the background can be seen Sowerby Bridge Police Station, which may be familiar to many as the one used in the two gripping 'Happy Valley' television series. The road leading off to the right immediately passes under a high railway bridge from which in the last episode Det. Sgt. John Wadsworth (played by Kevin Doyle) finally lept to his death.
