With the transfer of MacBrayne's services to Highland Omnibuses, in 1971 Highland acquired former MacBrayne 76, 377FGB, a Bedford VAS1 with Duple Midland B30F bodywork which had been new in May 1962.
It is seen here on a gloomy day at Kyleakin, still in MacBrayne's livery but for the application of Highland fleetnumber (CD45) the application of which is a little amateurish. It also appears that some of the letters of 'Bedford' have 'gone walkabout'!
CD45 didn't last long with Highland being withdrawn in 1973.
