SUM999 was an Austin LD1 with an Appleyard C12F body which ran for Naylor, Leeds from an unrecorded date until around November 1964.
It passed to Tetley, Leeds in November 1964, to Gray, Stamford Bridge from March 1966 to July 1967, Frankish, Brandesburton in July 1967 and in December 1968 to Connor & Graham, Easington, with whom it is seen here, although it appears to be de-licensed. As may be gathered from the registration number it had been new as an ambulance to Leeds City Ambulance Service in 1954 and was converted to C12F by Appleyard after sale.
