This May 1977 garage yard photograph shows one of the five AEC 3B3RA Renowns with Weymann H40/30F bodies, DAU372C, acquired by Red Rover of Aylesbury from City of Nottingham Transport. This one arrived in December 1976.
By 1979 it had suffered the indignity of becoming a Travellers Home. By November 2007, it had returned to Nottingham and has spent the subsequent years parked alongside the railway line at Colwick, still being there as recently as December 2019. I have seen it reported that at least one of these Renowns survived with Red Rover long enough to be acquired by Luton & District, with the Red Rover business, in January 1988.
